Nouman joined LEDA as a Graduate Building Services Engineer in July 2016, having studied Electrical and Electronic Engineering at University of East London, working on all aspects of electrical and lighting designs under supervision of LEDA directors.
He has been working on Ampleforth Abbey Trust, Monastery Refurbishment electrical design for listed building project with emphasis on long-term sustainability. BIM and 403D modelling are extensively used.
Nouman is working on the Bronte 50 bed Care home and 69 Extra Care home apartments for Bradford City council. These apartments are very LEAN DESIGN and use the latest technology in community heating to eliminate over heating in the corridors of the apartments. Prior to joining LEDA Nouman worked on various projects in Saudi Arabia as an Electrical Engineer including design lighting, electrical load and providing the installation of security system such as CCTV and access control. Drawing up plans using design software such as AutoCAD and Dialux.
His roles also included attending meetings on site, preparing product documentation, writing reports and giving presentations to manager and clients , coordinating technicians and craftspeople, making sure projects meet electrical safety regulations and being Responsible for effective liaison and collaboration with individuals including civil engineers, architects, and electrical technicians in order to support and ensure the successful delivery of projects.
