Investors in the Environment Awards – Sustainable Transport Champion 2020
We were absolutely delighted to win an award at the Investors in the Environment Awards 2020. We were given ‘Sustainable Transport Champion 2020’.
They had these lovely words to say about us:
‘LEDA has great sustainable transport initiatives in place, particularly those relating to cycling. Excellent facilities and policies are available to encourage cycling to work and for business travel, with the addition of a bike shed and e-bike this year. They are also working to influence others by encouraging visitors to travel sustainably, sharing their facilities with other local tenants and their leadership helps to create a positive culture around cycling through use of the Twitter hashtag campaign #engineerbybike to show how a Director and engineer can travel to off site visits by public transport and bike.’
We are proud to have achieved this award, and to be recognised as champions of sustainable transport! Last Christmas we even had our Christmas staff day out as a cycle ride to Temple Newsam for a lovely Christmas lunch.
