MEP REVIT Technician
LEDA are seeking to recruit a MEP Revit Technician, with 2+ years’ experience, to join our multi-disciplinary team. As our primary technician, you will be responsible for creating and managing building information models (BIM) using Autodesk Revit software. Your primary role will be to produce accurate and detailed models of mechanical, electrical and public health (MEP) systems that can be used for RIBA stages 2 to 6, Concept through detailed design, construction and handover purposes. You will work closely with our multi-disciplinary team of Engineers to ensure that the BIM accurately reflects the design intent and meets all relevant industry standards and codes.

Job Description
- Taking outline design mark ups and creating and managing Revit MEP models using Autodesk Revit software.
- Working with LEDA Engineers and attending external meetings in a support capacity.
- Coordinating your MEP design with external models and 2D drawings, carrying out clash detection and finding and implementing solution.
- Creating construction documentation such as floor plans, elevations, sections, and details in 2D and 3D.
- Managing relevant project incoming and outgoing information and documentation
- Creating and maintaining project templates and standards to ensure consistency across all projects. Creating and modifying Revit families as needed.
- Troubleshooting technical issues related to Revit software or BIM models.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest developments and best practices in Revit and BIM modelling.
- Communicating effectively with project team members and stakeholders.
- Providing training and support to other team members on Revit software and BIM modelling techniques.
To succeed in this role you will need:
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit software.
- Knowledge of buildings and standards.
- Attention to detail and consistently accurate.
- Able to communicate and collaborate effectively with our team.
- Able to work efficiently using your own initiative, with good decision-making & problem-solving skills.
- Ability to estimate time required to prepare and complete drawings and to work to agreed deadlines.
- Continuous learning approach.
Salary: £25,000 – £38,000 depending on experience. Plus 6% Employer Pension Contribution, plus 30 days’ holiday. Our pay system is open and transparent, after 6 months you can become a member of the co-operative and share in any surplus profits.
