Our Low Energy Building Consultant Richard Spencer will be opening his home as part of the International Passive House Open Days Summer Edition.
After the success of the first digital International Passive House Open Days in 2020, and due to the continuing COVID19 restrictions around the world, the 2021 International Passive House Open Days will be a hybrid event, with tours, Q&As, panel discussions and other sessions taking place in-person or online depending on the region and current COVID-19 status.
There are opportunities to visit Roundhay Passive House in person on Saturday 26th June or online on Sunday 27th June.
Roundhay Passive House was built to replace an existing dwelling in the North Leeds suburb of Roundhay. It was built by local builders K&P Horton with design input from Buckrose Ecological Architects and Leeds Environmental Design Associates, working with Passive House Certifiers WARM:Low Energy Building Practice. The house has been occupied since April 2018 and will provide visitors with an insight into the first few years of living in a Passive House.
Tickets for the ‘in person’ event (Saturday 26th June) can be booked HERE, or for the virtual visits (Sunday 27th June) click HERE.
