New Wortley Housing Association – Holdforth Place
We are very pleased to be part of the team delivering this new affordable community led sustainable housing scheme project. The site comprises areas of cleared former housing situated around an existing open green area and links through to another site intended for further housing development.
The brief is to design 15 three bedroom family houses with seven two bedroom flats for over 55’s. The client is aiming for high quality design, aiming for passive house standard to create low running costs for tenants. The design will take care to integrate the new buildings with the existing housing to create benefits for all and to make the most of the much needed investment in social housing.
LEDA are providing architectural design services in association with STACK Architects, as well as providing passive house design support.
